Inafune, Comcept and a second Mega Man Successor

Comcept, the developer behind the fast approaching Mighty No. 9, has released what appears to be another spiritual successor to the everlasting Mega Man series. Currently, the teaser trailer for RED ASH: The Indelible Legend can be see on Comcept’s “Youtube channel” or down below.

While Mighty No. 9 is much more relatable to classic Mega Man titles, it looks like RED ASH will spiritually succeed Mega Man: Legends, a title that has been hoped for by fans since the second game’s release in October of 2000. With Anime Expo right around the corner (July 4th), we may have more information sooner than later.

Until then, Might No. 9 is slated for a release September 15th in the United States and September 18th in Europe. It will be released both physically and digitally on the XBOX One, Playstation 4, and Wii U while only digital copies will be released on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

I love how blatant Inafune is about continuing his IPs even though Capcom technically owns them. I mean, that big guy is literally Teisel Bonne on vacation.
