New Legend of Zelda Still TBA

Might as well start saving up for the Nintendo NX. The upcoming open-world Zelda title, which was originally scheduled for release on the WiiU this holiday season, appears to have been pushed back past a 2016 release according to an official Nintendo launch schedule.

Since Nintendo has reported they won’t be discussing the details of their next system until next year, it almost seems appropriate for the next Zelda iteration to arrive as a launch title, given the lack of a genuine release announcement. While this may seem worrisome for excited WiiU owners, the NX could very well allow for a bigger, more complete product. Especially considering how grand in scope the game is already looking to be. For now, we can only eagerly await further details regarding the highly-anticipated installment.
