Tembo The Badass Elephant Out Now

The creators of Pokemon are releasing a new 2D platformer today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Tembo the Badass Elephant stars a Rambo-inspired elephant, fighting a war against evil forces. The cartoon characters coupled with 3D objects in the environment make for an eye-catching art style. Platforming, shooting water from your hose, butt stomping, and destruction appear to make up a bulk of the action. The game is priced at $14.99. Unfortunately for PC users, the game appears to be having issues at the moment, though Game Freak is aware of the situation.

Game Freak are the creators of Pokemon and generally work on very little other than the monster catching series. Another surprise with the release of Tembo is that it won’t be published by Nintendo nor is it out for any of their systems. Sega is publishing this time around. Tembo the Badass Elephant looks like it could be a lot of fun judging by the release trailer, which you can check out below.
