October’s PS Plus Free Games Include Super Meat Boy and Broken Age

Sony’s free game line-up for October is filled with indie titles. The most noteworthy games are the difficult platformer Super Meat Boy and the charming point-and-click adventure Broken Age. Both Super Meat Boy and Broken Age will be available for PS Plus subscribers on PS4 and PS Vita.

The other games that will be available for free in October are a selection of older, but generally well-received, indie titles. Unmechanical: Extended is a puzzle game that puts you in the place of a robot trying to escape an underground complex, KickBeat is a rhythm game where you beat up baddies to the beat of music, and Kung Fu Rabbit is a platformer that was originally a mobile game. The final game is Chariot, a cartoon puzzle-platformer that requires you to bring an object, the Chariot, from the start of a level to its end.

These games will be available on October 6th. As an aside, that date is also the first day that Driveclub PS Plus Edition will not be available for free download. In other words, make sure that you download Driveclub before October 6th if you are a subscriber to PS Plus.
