The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Hearts of Stone release date

GameInformer reported CD Projekt Red will be releasing the first expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on October 13th 2015.

The expansion, Hearts of Stone, will give players an extra 10 hours of play-time on top of the already massive world. The retail version of the expansion will include PHYSICAL Scoia’tael and Monster Gwent card decks, though CD Projekt is also offering them separately from the expansion so they can be obtained even if the season pass was purchased.

If customers purchase the expansion on its own (sans season pass), it will cost $19.99 USD at retailers. However, purchasing digitally will save $10, though Gwent cards will not be included. Note that the expansion pass includes both expansions for only $4 more than the retail value of Hearts of Stone.

Both expansions are rumored to be a minimum of 30 hours collectively, giving players what would essentially be an entire new game to play.
