Warning: Phantom Pain Glitch Can Ruin Your Save

There is a game-breaking glitch in MGS V: The Phantom Pain related to the character Quiet, but luckily it is easy to avoid. As reported by Konami themselves, there is a chance that a user’s save will become corrupted if they use Quiet as a buddy while playing either Mission 29 or Mission 42. The issue is present on every version of the game, regardless of system.

Konami is currently working on a game patch that will fix this issue. For now, it’s a good idea to simply not use Quiet during Mission 29 or Mission 42, unless you want to risk having to start the game all over.
