Developers are already planning to make games for the Nintendo NX

The Nintendo NX has been a serious point of discussion for not just Nintendo fans, but the larger gaming community. With Nintendo’s announcement of the console during a press conference back in March and their recent filing for a console patent over the summer has only raised myriad questions and concerns. The most fascinating aspect of the NX’s development thus far is that game developers are already contemplating games that they want to create for the NX platform.

Some of these developers include Spike Chunsoft and Square Enix who are both considering releasing their newest entries in the Zero Escape and Dragon Quest franchises respectively. In fact, Wired UK was unable to uncover some scraps of information concerning the development of Dragon Quest XI. They write how “Square Enix will be bringing the next installment in the Dragon Quest series to the mysterious Wii U successor”, however little conclusive evidence was given about the title aside from the fact that a Nintendo NX version exists.

Moreover, Wired UK also reported how the eleventh installment will coincide with the release of the Nintendo NX console which has been speculated to be in 2016. Despite these claims, Nintendo has still made no official statement about the definitive release date of the NX, but stay posted with us to see what future developments arise for this enigmatic platform.

I live in Southern California and I am a college graduate who enjoys playing video games both new and old. However, I am a very selective gamer and I tend to play games from my favorite genres most of the time, but I am still open to anything that peaks my interest. What games I can review or provide editorials for is mostly dependent on whether I can afford a certain game and if I have an opinion about the game that I wish to express. Anyway, I intend to contribute general gaming news and reviews to Cynosure Gaming as much as possible in order to inform, entertain, and unify gamers of all kinds.
