Well, ’tis the season for an exciting survival horror game announcement. Red Barrels have officially released a trailer for their next project, a followup to their 2013 indie hit Outlast. Stock up on some batteries and check it out below:
Based on the imagery, it looks like cult elements are once again to be utilized as a theme to terrifying effect. The developer unveiled the sequel and teaser trailer on their Twitter, promising “A new twisted journey into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets.”
The game is scheduled for release in the fall of 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
