Battleborn Release Date Pushed to May

Publisher 2K Games have officially delayed Battleborn, the latest 4-player shooter title from developer Gearbox.  Originally scheduled to release February 9 of next year, the date has been pushed back to May 3, which unfortunately places the release outside of Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year.

No info has been shared regarding the reason behind the delay; however, the game recently entered beta testing in October, so perhaps some negative feedback prompted the developer to work on patching some issues players had with the game.  Given that the new release date falls outside of Take-Two’s fiscal year, it’s a safe assumption that whatever the reason for delay, it’s likely (hopefully) a good one.

Battleborn is now set to release May 9, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
