Splatoon will receive a free update today and more DLC in the future
Today during Nintendo Direct, the company showed off two brand new stages in action for their quirky shooter Splatoon. The first stage is called Muse D’d Alfonso and it will release tomorrow, the second stage is called Mahi Mahi Resort with an unknown release date. Both stages will introduce new obstacles like rotating objects and submerging terrain that will challenge seasoned Splatoon players. Nintendo also stated that an update for the game will be released today at 5 P.M. PT and it will include 40 new costumes and 40 new pieces of gear. On a final note, Nintendo has also made it clear that they plan to release new content for the game all the way to January of 2017.
