Game of the Year – 2018

It has been a whirlwind year for most of us here at CSG, and picking our GOTY was one of the most grueling decisions we’ve had to make. A lot of close calls between the runners up. However, through the adversity, one title rose above the rest, which is such an homage to the character of our pick, it cannot be understated. So, without further ado, I announce our Game of the year for 2018.

That’s right. Our Game of the Year title for this year belongs to none other than your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The team at Insomniac knew exactly what they were doing when crafting this version of our favorite hero, nailing the duality between Peter and Spidey. Every character was crafted with love, and the roller-coaster narrative kept us playing till the very end. Laughs were had, tears were shed and overall, just a perfect game. It would have never been possible without the man below, Mr. Stan Lee. And I just want to take this moment to thank him. For giving us one of the best role models we could ever have, and giving us the realization that we are all heroes. We miss you, but your legacy will live on in all of us.

Excelsior, Stan.
