Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Review – A Small Taste of What is to Come

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (this title sure is a mouthful), is the latest installment in a series of Kingdom Hearts remasters and it is the first to be released on the PlayStation 4. I think it is safe to conclude that Square Enix has been releasing these remasters to keep the Kingdom Hearts series alive and build tons of hype for Kingdom Hearts III.

Final Fantasy XV Review – For Fans and First Timers

Final Fantasy XV has been in developmental hell for a long time. 10 years ago, it was marketed as Final Fantasy Versus 13. Between then and now, details have slowly leaked showing multiple iterations over time before it was rumored the game was just being remade from scratch. It was only recently that Noctis was once revealed again carried many of the same abilities presented in the original trailers, however the world around him had changed almost entirely as well as bearing its final title, Final Fantasy 15. It is extremely rare for a title that has undergone so many developmental changes to come out on top. Fortunately, Square Enix broke the curse and brought the coveted series back stronger than ever.

Braulio’s Top-Ten Games of 2016

It’s my favorite time of the year! I get the chance to recollect my thoughts on my favorite games of the year. 2016 brought me new experiences I never thought I would enjoy and it brought even more JRPG’s to play. Sadly though, my school work took a toll on my free time this year meaning I missed out on many games I know I would enjoy like Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4. Other’s I got to play partially, but never completed. For those games I offer my honorable mentions. Well, 2016 seemed like a good time to be a gamer and here’s hoping 2017 brings in the goods, especially Nintendo with their latest piece of hardware. Happy holidays!

Read ahead the pro’s and con’s to what could potentially be a contender for game of the year.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor – Lasting Influence and the Future of Tradition

Modern systematics behind stealth gameplay can be traced back as early as the NES era, and I’m not strictly referencing Metal Gear, here. Influential RPGs like Chrono Trigger arguably initiated the concept of sneaking around enemy territory to effectively ignore combat scenarios altogether.
